In my 2025 PLANNER LINEUP POST, I mentioned for the start of next year, I was going to remove the finance section from my everyday catchall and add it to my personal planner all on its own. I was searching for some planner inserts to add for budgeting, debt tracking, and savings for my setup which includes 3 sections and a wallet.
One change I made from my original planner lineup post is I removed my Christina Loves Planning CASH ENVELOPES and placed them in my new Goldmine and CoCo FINANCIAL WALLET (I was too hype for this wallet, I unboxed it the same day it was delivered lol). While I have built my planer to my needs GCC also offers a complete MONEY MANAGEMENT BOX that includes a financial notebook, cash envelopes with custom labels for the wallet, affirmation cards, a savings tracker and more if you don’t want create a set up of your own. I love that this wallet system allows me the ease of keeping track of my receipts and purchases on the go because it’s always those lil sneaky purchases for me that can throw off my check balancing.
My first section in my planner is for goals which includes a five year plan (old insert bundle from Cloth & Paper no longer available), yearly reflection, and a wishlist from 8Lotus for some large purchases I have in mind to save for. My second section is dedicated to my personal finances and I chose inserts that are focused on savings, budgeting, and debt tracking. These inserts include a monthly reflection insert from a Cloth and Paper Bundle I purchased a while ago. Unfortunately, that exact bundle is no longer available but they do have a similar FINANCIAL BUNDLE available. I also used several inserts from 8Lotus which include a bill tracker, habit tracker, a paycheck budget insert, and a debt tracker. The bill tracker will be used for monthly and yearly fees such as my nurse liability insurance and annual Amex platinum fee (which is RIDICULOUS by the way). For the habit tracker – I want to stay consistent and monitor my progress of no spend days, debt payments, and savings deposits. The debt tracker insert will allow me to not only notate payment and remaining balances it will also allow me to notate interest rates, dues dates, and minimum payment amounts.
My third and final section will be dedicated to my business finances for affiliate commission and content creation income. If you didn’t know your girl is a whole official LLC out here and I need to start living up to my potential okayyyyy. So in this section I wanted to keep it simple as I’m mainly focusing on income and savings. I’m only using 2 inserts here, one for bill tracking of annual and monthly fees like my domain yearly fee, Biz Amex platinum card, and my Canva subscription for example. The other insert is a financial overview insert which is pretty simplistic but aligns perfectly with my income tracking needs. Both inserts are from 8Lotus as well. Dashboards – 25 from 8Lotus, Worthy from Richly Noted (shop no longer open), C&P Luxury that lasts, Glowing, and Purpose (not available for purchase anymore) and their YEAR AT A GLANCE that’s layered on top of an abstract dashboard from CreateWithBri.
Would you check out any of the inserts I listed? Do you have a financial planning system of your own? Don’t be shy, let’s chat in the comments below because we don’t gatekeep over here, and we love a good lil kee kee lol ;p
