Spring Cleaning My Closet With Intention

One thing I’ve learned is that spring cleaning your closet isn’t just about getting rid of things — it’s also about deciding what actually deserves space in your life and what still brings you joy when wearing it.

As I went through my closet, I asked myself a few simple questions:

How does this item make me feel when I wear it? Is this a closet stable item I’d always keep? Does this still reflect my personal style? Am I keeping this because I love it, or just because I spent money on it?

That first question really changed my mindset because after my daughter my body and fashion style has changed. It’s important for me to wear items that make me feel good about my body and about myself but still focuses on a more curated closet capsule approach.

Some of the pieces I’m listing are beautiful, in great condition, and just too good to sit unworn. That made selling them through The RealReal feel like a much better option than just letting them sit untouched. And the funds made can go directly to building the wardrobe I desire to have because we’re moving financially sound all 2026.

The first item I’ve listed is these beautiful CHANEL INTERLOCKING CC MULES. When I say I LOVEEEEE these classics I mean it. Unfortunately they’ve become too small for me postpartum. After having my daughter my feet grew about a half – 1 full size. So while these maybe hard to part ways with I know they’ll look beautiful in someone else’s closet.
