Besties, can we talk about all the pressure around what your body should look like after having a baby. Everywhere you turn, there’s messaging about “bouncing back,” losing weight quickly, or getting back to your old self. But if I’m being honest, my postpartum journey has taught me something completely different.
For me, building my body back postpartum hasn’t been about perfection, punishment, or trying to become the version of myself that no longer exists. It’s been about learning how to support my body with more intention, grace, and consistency.
This season has required softness, patience, and a deeper level of self-care than I expected. 🤳🏾In this video, I’m sharing the 5 simple postpartum habits that have helped me on my journey, from staying consistent with movement to being more intentional about what I eat, how I rest, and how I show up for myself daily.
If you’re currently in your postpartum journey, I just want to say this: you do not have to rush your healing. You do not have to pressure yourself to “bounce back.” And you definitely do not have to do it all perfectly. I hope this video encourages you. 🤎
